We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer / Tech Lead to take ownership of our backend systems and guide the technical direction of our Node.js infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and scaling our backend stack while leading by example and ensuring engineering excellence across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the entire backend architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Lead development of RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js, Nest.js, and Express.js.
• Oversee backend design reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor other engineers.
• Design, optimize, and manage databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Implement and manage message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) for distributed systems and async workloads.
• Deploy and maintain services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Continuously monitor, profile, and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate closely with frontend, product, and DevOps teams to define backend standards and long-term architecture.
• Ensure systems meet high standards of security, maintainability, and performance.
